Anyone have a collection of CHEAP AG recipes?

+1 on Smash. Its a great cheap way to get your AG process down and learn about ingredients at the same time. Just look at what kinds of hops and malts are used in your favorite beers and start using them.

During fermentation your beer is usually a couple degrees warmer then room temperature. And it probably wont completely go away but it could go down quite a bit.

    Small batch/large fermenter?

So when using a large fermenter should you just let in sit in primary for an extra week if you dont have a smaller carboy to re-rack to?

Condition beer in a growler with wax seal?

Has any ever tried or does anyone think it would be an ok idea to bottle condition beer in a growler if you dip the top in wax to get a air tight seal? I have a ton of growlers and was just trying to think of something to do with them.

High Sierra (Sierra Nevada) Pale Ale

So I made something similar to this recipe. What is the benefit to keeping the beer in the primary for two weeks as it has finished fermenting after about 5 days.

I have brewed 3 all grain beers but still only get a 60% efficiency because I have changed this and that. So...
