I finished my wiring on my controller. When it can to testing the unit I pulled up the instructions for the SYL-2352 and I noticed it was way more involved than expected. Is there a thread or can someone tell me how to set up the controller in a simple fashion? I'm just looking to set the temp...

For the most part I see heating to 160 deg. and then adding first or second.
Helibrewer suggest adding it to the mash tun. I would think enzyme break down like it does in the grain.

Wow don't hate me my friend gave me two stir plates. I was so excited I split the yeast vial between them both just because I could. Not that it would really make a difference. Who cares I'm excited it's only a little more DME.

When do you think adding fruit to beer is best? My main concern is infection.
I live about 7 min from a blueberry farm, so getting it fresh is not an issue.
Do I freeze and add? Or do I pick fresh and add 10-14 day when the alcohol content is higher?

This was the first time I used my recirculation system, so I was not sure what to expect. I guess the final judge will be in the taste test.

From the sample one of my friends go from a grower they were fragrant and a good size. The alpha test not so hot. I might putz around with doing it in aquaponics instead of hydropincs and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for your help.
