    The reason I ask is because I fridge for fermenting and conditioning , but no place to keep a keg at serving temp ... I was wondering since my fridge and fridge / freezer is on a temp control and the freezer never freezes , can I keep a keg laying down up there ?

    Thanks for the help bros , we didn't need the ice after all , we made a cheapo submersion chiller and it dropped it from 210 to 80 in 30 mins woooooooo!!!!!! Very very highly recommended to build a wort chiller , got an idea off you tube to hook up an extra hose an a sprinkler the the hot side...

    I'm doing a kit that calls for me to top off the fermenter will cool water to equal five gallons , could I add filtered ice to help bring my wort pitching temp ?

    I have a 6.5 truebrew bottling bucket , a hose , a bottle wandamajigg , and capper ... My previous 2 batches carbed up quick , but when we racked from the carboy back into the bucket we put the priming sugar in after racking , instead of having in the bucket and racking on top of it

    I'm on my 4th batch , massively huge fan of ipa's especially Lagunitas ipa and especially their Maximus ... Was wondering if anybody has a hop/fruit schedule that could get me around that flavor range??
