I usually have about 3 gallons in my boil kettle , and then top it off with a few extra to make it 5 gallons ... How much sugar can I add to up the abv without distorting the flavor

God damn lol ... I wasn't looking to spike my homebrew with cheap nasty waster sauce hahaha .. But I'm also not trying to brew my own beer and not get drunk when I want to ! ... I was jus looking for a point or 2... I jus drank 5 of my BrewersBest imperial pale ales and almost no fuzziness

How do I up my abv !?!? ... All of my 6 batches have ended tasting pretty dope but they have all lacked abv ... I heard about adding reg sugar but adding a whole pound to my 3 gallon kettle sounds insane .... Anybody got any pointer ?

Jus used my first Wyeast smack pack , I had beat the **** out of that thing to activated haha .. I looked up some YouTube vids and everybody gave it a light tap , I was beatin that thang up , ended up squeezing it to get it to pop in there lol

Was transferring my Lagunita's ipa clone and disturbed the trube at bottom of the carboy , and it's tasted like a ass :( ... But before I disturbed it smelt amazing ? ... Is that nasty yeast smell and taste gonna fall to the bottom again ??

Stone is expensive for sure , but there are much more pricey and more terrible beers out there than Stone for sure

I'm not the biggest fan of Stone , but I jus went to a beer store down here in Tx last night , and actually saw a 17 dollar 12 oz bottle of beer !!!!! Not a bomber or a 24 oz ... 12 f-ing ozs of beer and guess what ? It wasn't a Stone ... Can't remember the name of it though ... Ended up going...

There a beer here in Texas that's allied ShinerBock that I was super dark and cool lookin but was actually really light in flavor ... It's not the best by any measure , but it made want to try different styles and flavors ... If I could only remember what ipa really caught my taste buds ...

Yeah we tried to go to our closest home brew shop and they didn't have that kind of lid , so we ended up buyin a diff lid and bucket... All is well now , and we ended going to a diff LHBS a mont or 3 later and they had the lid we needed originally .. So we have 2 ferm buckets and a carboy at...

We fermented so hard on second batch it craked the lid on our bucket right next to the airlock hole

We are sure we got fermentation now , and we are mor than sure our buckets are perfectly airtight , the lids on these buckets will swell under heavy fermentation

Oh and can anybody post a pic of that Pliny or zombie dust ? I hear alot about em on the but never seen either
