I saw that story yesterday. A Chinese company made a similar claim in 2020. It would be awesome if it is true but, for me, it is in the "I'll believe it when I see it" category.
I think I saw a YouTube about this (or a similar lake at least) last year. The ferry never stops moving as kids jump off, deposit mail in a few boxes as they run along the dock, then jump back on just as the ferry hits the end. Damn impressive!
California posts a breakdown of gas prices but the $.66 in taxes doesn't come close to explaining the $2 difference. I suspect our crude and refining prices are inflated as well.
Average price in California right now is $4.83. We've been the highest for quite a while but I hear Washington just passed us up and is averaging $4.98. It cost me $106 to fill up yesterday. Fortunately, that lasts me about a month.
Link your fermentation keg to an empty keg and put the spunding valve on the empty keg. Fermentation gas will purge the empty keg for you by the time you are ready to transfer.
I wish I had seen this last week - my wife was just there. Although, I'm having some doubt that I could have convinced her to drag 4 kegs back with her... Best of luck!
