I'll be surprised if it's at 111 ibu, ibu calculators are not extremely accurate.my guess is that the actual total number of ibu's are like half that. Ferment it and taste it, you might surprised and like it more than you think you will.

Google search your area for someone who can tig weld, or check around the DIY forums, I'm sure there is someone here that can refer you to a workshop or maybe someone here on the forum can tig weld that lives near your area. You can get the fittings from sites like more beer, so at least they...

Maybe someone could tig or silver solder some tri clamp fittings on it? Would be easy to clean and you could buy standard gaskets without worry.

I use a rope tub with some picnic cooler ice pack freezer things, or what ever they are called in the states. You can freeze water in soda bottles and swop them morning and evening in the rope tub to help cool tempreture.

Check up on how to set up a blow off tube , that will help when the yeast are super busy. And what's the temperature of your carboy?

Hairy legs

Basic brewing radio is fantastic, plenty of good info and just the right amount of banter, without interfering with the s how's content. Very well produced as well, no weird background noises or poor audio quality.
