I have had similar results. The more I brew the less time i have/want to spend gaming in general, specifically playing WoW. It seems like such a waste when there are so many beers to be made and DIYs to finish!

I used generic kroger brand apple juice. Only additive was ascorbic acid, which if i remember the original post correctly, is some kind of vitamin anyhow and doesnt affect the outcome.

I just started using Better Bottles and I have to say, they are really great. I won't be purchasing anymore glass carboys.

+1 for both options. I have been looking at an in-line option for filtering. (setting the top half of my brita filter on a bucket and letting the faucet trickle into it was a real spill hazard.)

I expect that I will start to plan a little better this year to hit seasonals like octoberfest. Though when I say "a little better" that improvement is from absolutely no planning. hehe. We'll see how it goes.

I don't recall the brewery, but one of the guys in my hbc brought some canned Pineapple or Citra IPA back from hawaii that was suprisingly tasty. Just can't remember the details, we all got a bit sloshed that meeting >.<

I have one of the original WoW steins "For the Horde". I drank out of it once and it went on the mantle with my other steins. Definitely been mulling over the Tankard'o'Terror as a future purchase however. Just love the look!
