    Blood Orange Hefeweizen

Welp, here it is. I've linked the image from last years version for comparison. The primary differences being this years was AllGrain, last years was exact to the recipe and done with DME. I think the color difference is a little exaggerated in the photos due to lighting. But the...

I've only ever used irish moss, seemed to work well for me. then again the difference isnt substantial, my beers have been relatively clear without fining agents.

I'm excited to do this, Going to order a soda tap and extra kegs soon. I am curious, is there anyway to get caffeinated soda via this method?

    First starter with stirplate

I did some research and you are right, I did over pitch! I'll have to watch that in the future. The stirplate still did a great job preparing that starter though. Hehe, that was more the point I was trying to make!

    Festbier World's Best Oktoberfest

Brewed this yesterday as my very first lager! Also happens to be my first time using a decoction. Man, you guys aren't kidding it makes for a long brew day. Anyway, I may have had an issue. My OG reading post boil was only 10.5brix (about 1.044). This is further off from the 1.059 that I read...
