    Gosh Darnit I missed you guys!

    I had a baby and I was just too busy to brew. My husband works in the oilfields and it was difficult to maintain. I've reconfigured my brewing area, we turned the garage into a man cave, and added more taps to the fridge. So it's time to fill those kegs baby! I'm back and not going anywhere...

    Same here...I just put the lid on the mash tun. 2lbs of Caramel 60L 4 lbs of Pale Malt 1lb of minute rice.... we shall see....now to determine the hop profile.

    I surfed through some of the pages, because I thought for sure someone had posted about what a decent trade off was for the flaked corn...I didn't come across it though. SO with that said, what's an alternative for flaked corn? Please and thanks guys.

    Milling tomorrow for my Horseman Red this weekend. If I get off my lazy butt and go pick up supplies, i'll be putting my yummy "So Long Summer" Witbier in the kettle as well. :)

    Holy Crap!!! I'm back!

    I've missed you guys! Life decided to take a sharp turn down a very nasty road for me and my family and I had to set all extracurriculars down for a while. I hope some of the guys I used to talk to are still on here... And here's to hoping I can set up another beer exchange soon. Things are back...

    He sure did! :) I've brewed the Centennial and it was delicious! :) The Bee Cave Haus Pale Ale is a bit too hoppy for me. I suppose I could use it as a base though and adjust the hops.....but that wouldn't do my any good as I am looking for something that people are familiar with **thought to...

    **long time no chat guys.... my 17 month old son was very very ill** Anywho.. I've got 3lbs of Munich, 5lbs of Caramel 60, and of course the bottomless pit of of US 2 row. Tettnang, Tettnanger, Saaz, Centennial, and Cascade in the freezer, and a plethora of yeastie beasties in the fridge...
