    Bottle conditioning in warm climates

Got it, don't worry about. I like those answers!

    Bottle conditioning in warm climates

I posted this originally in the bottling section but it may be better as a new brewer question. I live in Florida and I'm looking at temps reaching upwards of 78-80 degrees in my house over the summer, which means my room temp is not the normal 70 people think. Has anyone found a solution to...

    Tampa rhyzomes

My plan is to put the plants on a side of my house that's shaded most of the day to simulate a short day for the plant. Once it gets a little warmer I can then move it to a full sun area to let them settle in. Is growing cascade really that much different than centennial? I've read nearly all...

    Tampa rhyzomes

Looks like I'm going to go with crowns from Great Lakes Hops. I'm leaning towards Centennial and Willamette, any other suggestions for a general use hop? I'm still pretty new to brewing and haven't developed a favorite variety yet but I thoroughly enjoy both brewing and gardening so why not...

    Tampa rhyzomes

That's pretty much what I assumed but was crossing my fingers I was wrong.

    Bottle conditioning in warm climates

Anyone found a solution to where/how to condition your beer after bottling when room temp is upwards of 80? I was debating using my chest freezer but really didn't want to lose space I could be using for my fermentors. It's not so bad now but Florida summer is quickly approaching and I want to...

    Tampa rhyzomes

Anyone know of anywhere near the Tampa area I could get some rhyzomes or a starter plant? I'm looking to grow my own this year and would rather start before the march-may time frame most of the online places quote...not to mention I'd rather support local. I'm pretty open to types right now too.

Is there a Temp Controller thats Wifi capable?

Thanks, I'll have to look into that.

Is there a Temp Controller thats Wifi capable?

I've been able to find this kind of thing for BBQ but there doesn't seem to be anything for cooling. The CyberQ is a digital temp controller with a web interface which controls the temperature of your BBQ grill remotely.

Is there a Temp Controller thats Wifi capable?

I've been looking around and can't seem to find anything like what I'm looking for. I've been spoiled in my house by the Nest thermostat. It's a digital thermostat that I can control from my iPhone. It gives me all kinds of reporting to see how long my AC unit ran, at what time of day and...

Home Brewers in Florida (or other hot locals)

Another mid-western florida here, Land O Lakes. I agree with the tub of water method though I don't bother with the towel or fan. I bought a fairly large trash barrel and filled it up with water to the water line of my fermentation bucket so that it's just slightly shy of neutral buoyancy...
