quick question. the doppelbock has been lagering at 40*F for around 5 weeks. I open the fridge to take a look and see something floating around at the top. yeast im guessing? I was planning to bottle next weekend. should I put in a clarifier? Thanks

OK so I don't have a bigger vessel but I added another quart of wort and 1/4 of the brewvint capsule I have. i'm seeing more tiny bubbles already! since it doesn't look like i'll be brewing tomorrow, the next available day will be on tuesday. will that be OK?

hmm.. OK thanks. also, the yeasts optimal temp is around 50* since it's a lager yeast.

The kit that I got came with 5 star PBW. Now from what I understand this is to just clean equipment and bottles of surface residue. I'm guessing it doesn't sanitize it as well? Thanks
