    To my knowledge there are 3 types of glue PVC, CPVC, and ABS. In normal plumbing you would want to use the proper corresponding glue, but in this application I would imagine you would be OK with regular PVC glue.     They are stainless. I found all the parts at my local Do It center (hardware store). They seem to stock less selection but more of the hard to find items than the big box stores.

    I was just planning on using the standard CPVC glue. It is what is used on my hot water lines. In everything I have read so far I have not heared of a special glue being used.

    So far it is working with the original insert, as long as it holds up to temps we should be good.

    Drain plug removed out and in New valve I ended up reusing the rubber insert for now on the inside as it fit over the coupler and stop a minor drip that was occur using just the oring. Currently I am working on a manifold and hope to have pictures up soon.
