    Quick immersion chiller question

    1/2 more expensive, works faster, uses a lot more water. 3/8 is usually called refrigeration tubing - requires 1/4" fittings that are often tough to find.

    They use flash pasteurization. Not sure if they stop fermentation really early, but my guess us they do it to be able to backsweaten without another fermentation. I'm curious what they back sweeten with - juice, sugar, wine conditioner, cherries???

    Different yeast have different flocculation. Some can look kind of weird. I wouldn't get to concerned

    Bobby, so you'd just put the barb over the copper tube, having the garden connection facing out? Good idea, but I could really use a couple 1/4" 90 elbows.

    Spacing coils on homemade Immersion chiller

    The inside coil was nice, even and tight. The outside coil a little tougher. Would like to space each wrong on both coils so its more stable and less springy.
