    Boiling sanitizes the water.....how about top-off water? Doesnt need sanitization?

    I pre-boil mine for 2 reasons: 1. so I can treat it with a campden tablet since my city uses chloramine 2. so I can have it in the fridge and freezer so I can goose my water bath and cool my wort faster. Sanitation b/c of it is a bonus.

    I see it now. My brain read this 'for' as an after "Gently stir for 30 minutes". That being said, I've never had an issue and it is usually going strong by 12hrs.

    MillerCoors to make high ABV beer to compete with liquor drinking youth

    Grocery store had a tasting table up the other day with this stuff. It tastes EXACTLY like Miller Lite but with a higher alcohol burn, (shocking, I know) which is to say, gross. (and that's not some beer snob comment,I like Budweiser but I've always hated Miller Lite)

    1 cup of 80-85* boiled water Dump in, stir after 15 min Stir and pitch at around 30 min I do it for s-04 and s-05, have always had good, fairly quick starting fermentation
