    Over-carbonation -> Off flavour?

    I had this problem too, everyone but me tasted it ( I was in denial, I brewed it after all, ha ha) anyway after that I switched to the set and forget method of carbing, about 12-14 psi for a few days, periodically checking it, then reducing the psi to about 6-8 psi for serving , been fine since

    Co2 line length

    I have one kegerator i made from a mini fridge and one I'm working on from a regular size fridge, my question is i was going to run an air line from the co2 tank/regulator at the mini fridge over to another set of regulators inside the big fridge which will be about 30'. Is this too long? or...

    First time kegging. Nothing but foam

    Shouldn't have air in lines, I recently had a problem with one of my kegs where i got a lot of foam and i messed around with the pressure and line lengths, it turned out the poppit spring in the out post was not compressing enough to allow a good flow, i clipped one coil off the bottom of the...

    Slow pour from faucet/keg

    So more confirmation that it was the poppit, I kegged another batch last night and put it in kegerator, I put in new poppits, and all new o rings, and just had to try to pour a glass, it came out beautifully, still flat of course but it poured nicely, and the connector popped on nice and easy.

    Slow pour from faucet/keg

    so I pulled the out post off again and trimmed off 1 coil from the bottom of the poppit spring, and that worked, now it pours just fine and the connector is easier to push on. Thanks for the help

    Slow pour from faucet/keg

    I've been having a problem of a slow pour from my keg. It is a ball lock keg carbed at about 12psi (set and forget). the problem is the beer pours out at just above a trickle and i can't figure out why, the beer comes out with a good level of carbonation it's just slow. I started out with...

    The cure for your short hose troubles

    Do you need more than one of these in the dip tube? I tried one and didn't see any difference in the pour, it was still too foamy, the beer itself is not over carbed but I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure this out, I tried longer lines, I tried shorter lines, less pressure, more...
