    A lot of head

Bottles need to rest at 70 degrees for 3wks. IPAs carb more quickly. After they need to be in the fridge at least a week to put the co2 in the beer. I've popped a few too early and had beers be mostly foam. There's a video about this around somewhere.

    Cooling fermenter

You could put some starsan in the water too as well as covering it. Put a fan on it to cool it more if you need it. Good luck.

Overshot starting on Centennial Blonde Ale

I'd settle. If you mess with it too much you might do something you cannot reverse. You'll have a damn good beer. It's a solid recipe.

True Brew Pale Ale FG too high

After three weeks. And you have a low abv beer. It's done. Gravity readings stayed the same. Sometimes it's just done. Extracts do that sometimes. You made beer though. Congrats. I'm sure it will taste great.

    Coffee stout advice

I did a cold press with the mighty shat tastic green mountain. I think it would have tasted better if it wasn't flavored.

    Coffee stout advice

I'm sure right out the beanery it tastes much better or Maybe I don't like green mountain. The best coffee I have ever had comes from boston in the north end at a place called Polaris. I swear the baby Jesus himself blessed it with his big toe it was so good.

    Coffee stout advice

I had it in the back from a long time ago..back before I was a man even. Or I knew what good coffee was anyway. Unfortunately the the organic bat poop coffee or something expensive was in a similar bag. It was a sad day.

    Coffee stout advice

If you have crap coffee grounds on hand. Wait. Go out get some great coffee then proceed. I made this mistake and when it was too late I finally realized that I almost ruined my batch by using green mountain chocolate vanilla coffee. I grabbed the wrong bag. Green mountain is horrible..wait...

Foamy Beer After Few Month Bottle Conditioning

I have had similar results with an ipa. I'd leave my bottles out in my closet and stick a few in the fridge for a week or so. But then I had some that I left in the fridge and forgot about them. After a few months it was way more carbed than if I had it in there a week. I since toned down my...

Foamy Beer After Few Month Bottle Conditioning

3 possible thing comes to my mind. Over carbonation, the beer has not finished fermentation, and the least likely is infection.
