swamp coolers work but i think its pretty hard to beat a 20$ craigslist fridge with a itc and a space heater, you can ferment in any weather any time of year all without having to remember to swap ice bottles and play the guessing game.

pretty positive that is just calcium carbonate and not sugars, nothing a little low ph soak wont take care of, star san or vinegar should get it off fast.

new elements showed up, the quality is a decent bit better, they were way less of a PITA to install due to longer threads, so that was a nice touch. They seem to heat up good and what not. In other good news, solved the pump priming issue with a pump prime step XD
