Heading to San Diego - Brewpub recommendations?

Russian River is in Santa Rosa. I second Hamilton's. Great bar. I also really love the Live Wire on El Cajon Blvd. O'Brien's is great as well. As far as brewpubs, when your up in Escondido visiting Stone, be sure and stop by Pizza Port in Solana Beach. Not a pub but you can...

    What are you drinking now?

Orval :rockin: If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times. If someone told me that I could only drink one beer for the rest of my life, This would be it! For me, this is the perfect beer. The perfect balance of bitter, tart, horseblanket, barnyard, new mown hay, etc, etc...

Could a restaurant /cafe sell it's own homebrew?

You'll need to get TTB approval for the brewery portion of the premises. You may also have to check into the zoning laws for your location. I'm building out a brewpub as we speak and had to get the zoning changed to accomodate the brewery. This can take up to 6 months.

    OR/WA Brew Day v2.0??

Chances are we'll have the pub open by then. McKBrew, would you be willing to take my portion down with you? I'd keg it for easy transport and may even be able to arrange getting it to Silverdale. Or, perhaps you can pick it up at Naked City's grand opening! (whenever that might be)

Short Snout Brewing Logo - Feedback

I like the idea of losing the hops, the color throws it off. I like the barley but if you decided to lose that as well, I'd add Portland Oregon to the logo.
