    You may have water leaking into the insulation of the cooler. That would prevent the cooler from maintaining a consistent temp. I would take the valve out and check for damp insulation and let it air dry.

    Has anyone skipped secondary and went straight to bottle? I'm at 9 days and it's still bubbling. Im thinking about letting it sit for two or three weeks and bottling.

    I made an apple cinnamon and it's awesome! I also made a peach that is bone dry, Im not a big fan of dry meads, I don't think it will ever clear. I like the vanilla idea.
