Just bought this pot for all grain

Yes, the construction and gauge are better than the cheap turkey fryer pots. Was well worth the money. Doing a BITB right now plenty of room for 7.5 gallons and my grain. This thing fits over 3 gas burners on my 5 burner stove.

Just bought this pot for all grain

Wow, hope everyone that wanted one of these pots got one at the $28.99 price, now it's $50! Plus the ship. They must have had a bunch of people here buy after I posted the deal and then jacked the price big time hoping to cash in, I frickin' hate that. Anyway it was a good deal while it lasted.

    BIAB bag on the cheap

Anyone interested in making their own bag for BIAB go to Walmart and get the Mainstays voile window panel, measures 84"X59". I made one for my 13 gallon pot and have plenty leftover to make another for a 10 gallon, less than $5 for the panel. So if you're lucky enough to have a wife or mom with...

    Champion juicer grain mill attatchment

Anyone ever used this? I've got a Champion juicer and have just used for juicing but you can get a grain mill attatchment for it which I've never had a use for until now. Looks like around $70-$80 on ebay.

Just bought this pot for all grain

Pot is conditioned, pretty dark, more than I expected. I'm adding a pic so you can see, funny thing you can see me and the wife taking the pic in the bottom of the pot.

Just bought this pot for all grain

OK guys, got my pot Tuesday, pretty fast on the shipping. Overall quality is good. It's not heavy gauge by any means but should work just fine. Room from the steamer plate to the bottom of the pot is 1" maybe 1/4" more at best. Handles are nice with 4 rivets holding each handle. For the money it...

Where do you get your grain?

Want to get into all grain brewing, wondering where the best deal on grain is. 50 poundsack.com looks like it may be a good source. I'll check my LBS, any tips or ideas?

Getting Ready to Brew First Home Brew

I vote for the Irish Red. Go to a local pub and try an autumn amber, an irish red, an irish stout and see which you like best.

    One Step and dishwasher

Has anyone used One Step in their dishwasher while sanitizing their bottles? Would think it would give a little extra piece of mind while sanitizing.

    Just tasted my first brew

An American Wheat. 24 days primary, 2 days cold crash included, 7 days in the bottle. I could not believe I had great carbonation and a nice head on the beer. Just wanted to sneak a taste after a month of waiting, and I'm very happy with the results. Should be a very nice beer in a couple weeks...

Just bought this pot for all grain

That really sucks that it was all dented up. At least they are sending you a new one. So I take it the pot isn't very heavy gauge? What's your overall take on the pot, handles, construction etc.?
