    Fixing the Anvil Fermentor Lid

I have 7 gallon brew buckets that I have added the domed 1.5" TC Chronical lid to. I also use the brew hardware gas post to TC fitting you mentioned above. This is all connected to a CO2 harvester setup that I made using simple hose barb fittings and mason jar lids. It is pattered after the...

Hefeweizen fans, looking for tips on AG cloning Paulaner/Weihenstephaner ...

I'm not sure if linking to another brew blog will get flagged, but this guy knows what's up. He is at the forefront of LODO and has many connections to those brewing Weißbier at the breweries you mentioned. Prost...

    MM-3Pro Mill Motor

Do you have any regrets going with the 180RPM motor vs. the 240RPM version? Also, what are the dimensions of the top of your cart? Great build btw!

    MM-3Pro Mill Motor

I am in the midst of planning a motorized grain mill. I have an MM-3Pro with 2" rollers. Does anyone have any problems using the 1/2HP motor from All American Ale works with a large 3 roller mill like this? I do plan on going with the 180RPM version which has 14.46 foot pounds / 173.52 inch...

    Alkaline Brewery Wash

It works with room temperature water, doesn't leave any white residue behind, and seems to do a better job cleaning than PBW. Plus, a simple soak makes labels melt off bottles if that's your thing. Winner, winner!

    Alkaline Brewery Wash

If you haven't tried the alkaline from Craft Meister you should give it a go. It is very different and much better in pretty much every way that I can think of. Which is why I posted this.

    Alkaline Brewery Wash

Is there any reason one would use PBW instead of alkaline brewery wash? I have switched exclusively to alkaline brewery wash, and I'm wondering if there is any reason to even keep the PBW around. I absolutely love the alkaline and use it exclusively.

Should I use some sort of manifold?

Regardless of what I said I think your build is pretty awesome. I don't think I've seen someone do this with a square cooler before. Prost!

Should I use some sort of manifold?

I would use CPVC due to the temps in mashing, and also I would not use any cement. The pipes will stay together without the cement. I'm super paranoid so I would think bad stuff would leach out of the PVC or cement into the mash. Also, get stainless mesh for the false bottom if you can. If...

98% apparent attenuation, should I be worried?

I would first check the accuracy of the hydrometer using some distilled water.
