Adult son and I decided to venture back into brewing. Did a few brews with the standard bucket and pot equipment. Fast forward cpl years son buys his first house and I decided to treat him by building a home brewery. I purchased a new spike trio 20 gal system along with a 30 gal fermenter.

I have a Spike Trio 20 gallon setup.

What do you guys have under your kettles as far as material? Have not done any brewing yet just completing setup. Want to make sure I have the pots setting on a surface that cam take the heat.

Setting up a Spike Trio 20 gal system. Most of the recipes I see are for 5gal batches. How do I go about increasing the batch size to around 15 gal or even 10. Have only ever done 5 gals with my old propane setup. Thanks in advance.

Got it..so I would make it ahead of time? How long ahead of brewing?

Does it have to be the same type of yeast that the recipe of the beer u plan to make calls for?

Ok, so 10-3 will have 4 wires?

What gauge wire (4 conducter) would I need for a run from my circuit breaker box to plug. The breaker is a 30 amp 220v. The length is around 30ft.
