I just added two 1" tri-clamps to my new 20gal Kegco Kettle, and it went just as smooth as silk.:D

    The "Barney" Brewstand

Now that I've retired, I have some time on my hands, so I thought I'd do a little work on my "Barney" Brewstand. I've had three pumps for a while now (one March and two Chugger pumps), but I've only really ever used two. I came upon this slick little 3-way ball valve, and it got my mind to...

Beverage Factory / Kegco Brite Tank

I've got 10 gallons of Dead Ringer happily fermenting under pressure as we speak...:) I also had Jaybird at Norcal weld a thermowell on the cap, so I can accurately monitor the fermentation temp. Updated 08/12/2017: The beer turned out GREAT!!! It came out of the fermenter already carbonated...

Do you need a 1 off Stainless part built for your system? Let's discuss it.

How about adding a compression fitting on a corney lid that would accept a thermowell?

Jaybird, Got the part from you yesterday, and it looks GREAT!!! :rockin: ... If I made another, I'd make the lower tube about 2" shorter, but this one will work fine. Working on the attaching arm and sparge switch now. Many Thanks for the great work. Cheers!! :mug:

Could you do one extra 90 degree bend at the top and add either a 3/4" or 1" Tri-clamp?

I really like the looks of MoreBeer's Ultimate Sparge Arm, however the spacing of the bracket doesn't work for me, as my Botton-drain Insulated Mash Tun is too wide. Would it be possible to fabricate just the stainless tubing / sparge device? If so, I could probably work up the bracket.

Just picked up my Kegco Brite Tank and would really like a thermowell in the cap. Is that something you can make, either as an add-on or new build?

Beverage Factory / Kegco Brite Tank

The catch would be getting a 4" tri-clamp ferrule sanitary-welded onto the keg in place of the normal 2" opening. Jaybird has several options that fit onto the standard 2" opening, but I like the 4" opening for cleaning, dry-hopping, and inspection purposes.

NEW Conical Fermenter - The Catalyst: 3" Butterfly valve, Mason jar compatible...

Well, after using the Catalyst for a NE IPA, I've decided I will not use it again as a fermentor. Three times I had the silicone seal disengage itself from the lid, once falling into my wort, and twice into my fermented beer during a dry-hopping. No amount of care was able to prevent the...
