Utah 2.5 co2 tank for sale or trade.

So i went to Salt City yesterday for a refill and I guess they only have a siphon tank so they can only put as much CO2 in your tank to match the pressure of their tank. They were able to put almost 2 lbs in my 5 lbs tank. For your 2.5 lbs tank it is probably close enough to full. Just wanted to...

    low burping pressure

I think that is your problem. It should be tight enough to not leak no matter what. There should be a plastic washer that goes between the tank and the regulator.

    low burping pressure

Did you leave it connected to the gas for the whole time with the valve open? If you shut the gas off to it then the CO2 was absorbed into the beer and that is why there wasn't much pressure.

    low burping pressure

Why do you keep pulling the relief valve? You are wasting CO2. You can just leave it at serving pressure for 2 weeks and it will carb up. By trying to quicken the carb process you run a greater risk of over carbonating the beer. So the best advice is to wait. On the other hand, I just got...

    First IPA recipe

KEEP THE DRY HOP AS IS!!! I love huge dry hop additions. It does so much for a hoppy beer. You won't regret it. I think it should turn out great.

Hahaha what about the crazy doctor?!? That guy is frightening!

Which label do you like more?

Maybe it is just me but I feel like the government warning is out of place. After all, it is what the doctor ordered.

HELP! aeration stone is stuck in my carboy!

I would just leave it in there if I were you. EDIT: You can call it Totally Stoned Pale Ale or something along those lines :D

Which label do you like more?

I like the third one the best. I love the old timey vibe to it.

    Dual pressure co2 regulators

This is the regulator I use. I really like it so far. All the knobs are all metal which is nice. It seems really solid. I don't have any experience with other regulators though.

    Hypermodern 64 IPA

It looks like it should be good! I like a punch in the nose from the hops in my IPAs though. If I were brewing this I would add some flameout/hop stand additions for some added aroma and I would double the dry hop amounts. I would also halve the 20 min Citra addition. I find that a 20 min...

Re-pitching Yeast for 1 gal Batch

Yeah you can toss the whole thing in but I don't think you really need that much. As long as you don't mind extra sediment at the bottom of your bottles you might as well toss it in.

Proper final PH and final taste adjustment question

Mine have just been in the basement for the whole time. It is usually around 65-70°F in the summer and 50-55°F in the winter. I imagine the cider will last a very long time. As long as your sanitation is up to par you should be just fine.

Utah 2.5 co2 tank for sale or trade.

Yeah I don't know how much it is. I bought my tank from them and the price included a fill. I just got my kegs setup recently so I haven't needed a refill yet.

    Brewing books on tape?

Also, I just checked and there are a few Homebrewing books on audible.com for under $5 each. I haven't ever heard of any of them but they are there.

Salt City Brew Supply fills CO2 tanks. I know you said you want to stick with AirGas but Salt City is a great LHBS and you can just get it filled when you pick up ingredients.

I also listen to podcasts during my commute. I like Brew Strong and Dr. Homebrew the best.

    Aerating Wort Question(s).

I was listening to an older Brew Strong episode and they recommend just using enough oxygen to fill the headspace in your carboy and then shaking it to get the wort to absorb as much oxygen as possible and also to save on oxygen.

    Aerating Wort Question(s).

If you are using pure oxygen then yes you can aerate too much but I think it has to run for over 2 minutes to be too much. I am not certain on this though. If you are using the wand with an aquarium pump and a HEPA filter then no you can't aerate too much. As far as sanitation goes, just make...
