Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

I'm getting a couple errors when clicking on the tan "gauge" or "bar" on the main page. Settings Error: Settings update failed. and Temps Warning: Unable to retrieve temperature data. Then a spinning circle forever. If I click on the menu to a different web page, I get a 404 error and get stuck...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

Before upgrading the firmware, I took out the magnifying glass and found a solder bridge. Fixed that and it's counting pulses now. I then upgraded the firmware. About Keg Cop: v1.1.0 [main] (5f787b6) Now I need to find 3 temp probes to solder on and make sure they work. Slow progress.....but...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

About Keg Cop: v1.0.0 [main] (e5e3589) I must have a wiring or PCB problem. I'll re-inspect it yet another time.

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

Lee, On that single sided board you designed, is there a mistake? It appears the flowmeter data signal also has 3v3 power added in across a 2k2 resistor. Keg Cop tells me it can't see the flowmeter and gives this message: Flow Warning: Unable to retrieve flowmeter data. What I find on the...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

I think I figured it out. Just click "Flip Board" in Eagle and it appears it will print correctly so the traces are on the bottom. But that appears to only change it in Eagle. I guess when printing, I have the option of mirroring the page in the Windows Print option window.

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

When this is printed on my laser printer, I think this will put the traces on the top side instead of the bottom. I'd need it Flipped? Mirrored? Flipped AND Mirrored? I'm not sure. I'm not sure how to print this in the laser printer so that what I see as the traces are on the bottom side of...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

Thanks for that single-sided PCB. It'll be perfect for my setup! One flow meter, one tap, one relay for kegerator cooling, one temp sensor for the keg. I was trying to make my own PCB in Eagle (but much more complicated) and having a hard time. I was trying to use the 4 temp sensors and one...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

Do you think it could be possible to make a single-sided PCB version of your boards? I'm probably not even a novice in Eagle, but it doesn't appear to easily convert a 2-sided PCB to a 1-sided PCB (if even possible at all). Or maybe could start over with the schematic and try to make a 1-sided...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

I'm trying to view the Schematic and connections between the main board and others so I can just hand-wire this up since I don't have any PCBs. I'm trying to get these from Github but can't figure out how to download the schematics and view them in Eagle (or any other PCB software). Is there a...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

Lee, Do you find that the standard 10A Arduino-type relays have enough capacity for the Kegerator compressor without failing quickly? In the past I've used 40A SSRs for anything Compressor/Motor or high-wattage (5500 W heating element) because I've been afraid the relays can't take either the...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

Does anyone have single boards for sale? I don't want to order 3 of each from OSH Park. I have single-sided copper blanks for etching at home, but am not set up and have never made 2-sided boards at home.

Finally trying pressure fermenting in corny kegs

I forgot to put the iSpindel in one of the kegs to determine when fermenting was finished, but have to believe it's done now. I pitched on Sunday, 6/19 using Nottingham dry yeast. There was plenty of fermentation the first few days and not so much now. How long should I let this keep fermenting...

Finally trying pressure fermenting in corny kegs

It seems to be working OK. It just took a bit to get some pressure built up I think. It's fermenting away at about 4-5 PSI right now. The Blow-Tie seems to be holding pretty consistent. The idea of the 2 empty Corny kegs was to purge with CO2, as well as be a buffer for blow-off to protect the...

Finally trying pressure fermenting in corny kegs

I have 9.5gal in 2 ball-lock corny kegs. Wondering if I can get a 2nd opinion on what I'm doing on my first time trying to ferment in kegs. I have 2 ball-lock kegs with 4.5-4.75 gal of Sparky's Nut Brown Ale in each. I added 1 drop of Fermcap to each keg. I blasted with O2 and pitched a packet...

Can I alter my tap to work with this duotight fitting?

Ordered from Bobby. Hopefully it's going to all fit in the riser tube.

Can I alter my tap to work with this duotight fitting?

I need female threads to screw on the faucet shank. I think it might have been a mistake to switch to a Duotight fitting since I don't have much room in my kegerator riser tube-thingy. The shank I have is pretty short already and I'm not sure I'd find one shorter, thus the question if I can cut...

Can I alter my tap to work with this duotight fitting?

@day_trippr have you ever cut part of the actual shank off with the threads? My tube on the top of the kegerator isn't very big and with the duotight fitting on there, the EVA Barrier tubing takes too tight a right-turn to press in and it leaks because it doesn't sit in straight. If I can cut...

I guess it looks like it's OK to grind them off in THIS THREAD from @day_trippr

Can I alter my tap to work with this duotight fitting?

I bought one of Bobby's Product Code: PUSHSHANK I thought I would be able to just screw it to the back of my faucet, but I later found that my faucet has a barb moulded into it. Can I simply cut off the barb and screw the Duotight fitting on it? I'm not sure the threads are the same though.
