Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

After a re-flash, it's pinging great again. 4ms and no loss. Web pages load fast. I've let it run with no pinging and no use of the web server/GUI, other than to check uptime. Uptime: Days: 0, Hours: 23, Minutes: 28, Seconds: 59

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

Even after powering off/on by pulling USB cable, it's bad. I'm thinking the ESP might be hosed. Or maybe a reflash might help. There is 75% packet loss when pinging after rebooting. Once it even went into AP mode and after powering off/on again, it went back into client mode. It's within 4' of...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

Recent reboot / crash? I only had logging via telnet, which didn't catch anything. I'll get a laptop down there to power it up and get a serial log going. Probably should have done that first. I didn't reboot it yet. The web GUI is very slow to respond. Actually, pages sometimes even time-out...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

Next to one of my APs, the signal strength is -25 dBm (99%) - according to my UniFi AP. When looking at the ESP logs at bootup, it's 1970-01-01T00:00:06Z N: Connected. IP address: 192.168.2.247, RSSI: -50. I start logging over Tera Term/telnet, so if there's another crash I hope I can capture...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

I've turned off Ping Plotter from hitting the ESP32. I don't have another WiFi AP, but can move this right next to one of my Unifi APs. I don't know what /api/v1/action/clearcalmode is or what it means to "hit it" - I did delete the Home Assistant MQTT settings in the config, in case that's...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

Trouble again. I didn't have the serial monitor running this time, but the web GUI isn't loading again. Getting the browser error: ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED I started up the serial monitor without rebooting the ESP first to see what it looked like. It's really odd. The screenshot looks mostly like...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

Keg Cop was running pretty well until I noticed my Ping Plotter losing contact to it. I did have the logging going with Tera Term. The logs around the trouble are here. Might it give a clue to what went wrong and how I can fix it? I'm not a programmer and have no clue what the error means...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

Thanks for that info. Moved power to the USB port instead and have Telnet working. Have to get the flow meter connected and then give it a good test. Need to get a 3-D printer to print cases for all my controllers and electronic stuff. FYI @LBussy A few months ago I had trouble with Keg Cop...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

I'm trying Keg Cop again -> this time with PCBs I bought at PCBWay instead of homemade. It was running fine for a day but then I can't get any web pages to load. Instead I get ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED. I tried the http://192.168.2.247/uptime.csv and still get the Connection Refused. It's currently...

BrewPi@ESP8266, no need of RPI and Arduino.

Is there a way to get BrewPiLess-32 to retain a wider time range of data on the temperature/control graph page? It seems to want to reset at random times. Or maybe it's not random and I just don't see the pattern. Maybe it rests after every page load or refresh? I'm using version 4.2.

    Brewpiless controller board

I know - this thread is pretty old now. But if you get your projects done as slowly as I get mine done...... I have some controllers for sale.

For Sale Completed/tested BrewPiLess-32 Controllers for sale. $40, shipping included

Here's a screenshot of the BrewPiLess in action, controlling temps in my Kegerator. BrewPiLess can do way more than this. But I ferment in cornys under pressure and don't need the temp control when fermenting. Here's the Homebrewtalk thread about BrewPiLess.

For Sale Completed/tested BrewPiLess-32 Controllers for sale. $40, shipping included

The PCBs are available from PCBWay. That's where I got them. I believe you may be able to get the gerbers from there or at BrewPiLess-32-PCB/BPL-32 FAB Files Rev00.zip at master · stefschin/BrewPiLess-32-PCB No, I don't have an enclosure for it. I don't have a 3D printer. I generally use...

For Sale Completed/tested BrewPiLess-32 Controllers for sale. $40, shipping included

I had some spare BrewPiLess-32 boards, so I built working units and have them available for sale. I'm using one to control my Kegerator and it's been working for months without any problems. I'm using a Danby kegerator and controlling the compressor with a ubiquitous blue 10A, 5v Arduino-type...

BrewPiLess trouble - timeouts, error, can't connect to server, controller not updating data

I think I found the cause of the problem, but don't understand how/why. I noticed my temp sensors weren't showing any values in the GUI. I futzed with the wiring for them and everything started working.

BrewPiLess trouble - timeouts, error, can't connect to server, controller not updating data

I have a newish install of BrewPiLess. It's been on/off having trouble. I initially thought it was a WiFi problem, but am not sure now. I intitially set a static IP address in the BrewPiLess GUI and also had a static set in my Firewall DHCP server. I removed the Static from BPL and it's only at...

BrewPi@ESP8266, no need of RPI and Arduino.

Would it be possible (or difficult to add) flow-meter capability to BrewPiLess? There's enough input/outputs. I'm not a programmer and wouldn't be able to do it myself. I'd like to be able to take the pulses from a flow meter and calibrate to beer flow volume. Then subtract that from a starting...

BrewPi@ESP8266, no need of RPI and Arduino.

I've been able to adjust the calibration / offset for only one Dallas sensor on the Device Page, but trying to later go in and change another sensor offset isn't sticking. It always goes back to 0 after refreshing the web page. Do I need to erase it all and set them up again but adjust all...

BrewPi@ESP8266, no need of RPI and Arduino.

Thanks @pocketmon - that worked perfect. I noticed that the temperature graph for one of my Dallas sensors appears to have a different behavior than the others. It's like it doesn't have as fine a granularity of precision. Notice how the gray line is flat for longer periods, while the blue and...

Every time I lose power, this returns back to Celsius. Is there a way to have this saved to stay on Fahrenheit after a reboot or power loss?
