What came in the mail for you today?

I thought I did but once cry once. Now I’m looking at an electric three vessel system that will have a permanent place and a brewery. And neither of the costs are associated

    Average age of home brewers......

28 and do 2 10 gallon batches a month, or 1 5 gallon batch, or 0 batches. I brew in spurts

    First Sour attempt

You could back down on the magnum just a little more, you’re right near the limit for some lacto. you can just add the lacto and Brett right into primary, but either way I think you’ll need longer than 3-4 months. My first sour took a year to get to where I thought t should be

Adjust priming sugar to different mash temp

No because your beer will be fully fermented out when you prime for bottling. Keep it the same.

Survey: Whats your brew pot size and do you use all of it.

I have a 10 gallon and a 20 gallon. I use the 10 for 5 gallon batches and the 20 for 10 but have never used the 20 for 5. Having the capacity for 10 have pushed me to make more 10 gallon batches. As a brewer who likes making saison have 10 gallons is great because I split between clean and wild...

Maybe Blake Bortles will play like Tom Brady and Tom Brady will play like Blake Bortles. Jalen Ramsey is a time traveler

Stir Plate for Top Cropping Hefeweizen Yeast?

I heard a theory/method the other day on starters. Instead of using a stir plate to just either shake the bejeesus out of your starter or use your oxygen stone to put the do level super high. The thought being that it will build happier healthy yeasts because the movement of the stir plate...

Jacksonville isn’t even on that chart. They don’t believe in the man, the myth, Blake Bortles

Lactos & Bretts for Quick Sour Farmhouse Ale (a la Goatpants)

As a warning, in my experience and from what I have read and heard, the Jolly Pumpkin bugs seem to take over. Every beer I have made or had with JP dregs in it all came out with a JP flavor. It's a really good flavor, but I just wanted to put it out there

If you say "Blake Bortles" three times while looking at a football he throws an interception, so I won't be saying that. I am honestly just happy that we aren't trash this year. On to SanFran

So, those Jaguars made it to the postseason... Go Jacksonville... Also, teams should know not to throw the ball in the endzone against the Patriots, just run the ball.
