    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

The bottom rack of a cabinet style smoker, meat (or whatever else) above on the upper racks. I use the pellet tray if I am doing a really long smoke, because my electric cabinet will fill up with wood chip ash before something like a brisket is done. It is also great to supplement the smoke...

    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

240F should be good for most smokes, but if you are having trouble with getting proper smoke try this out: https://amazenproducts.com/smokers/amazen-pellet-smoker5x8 I have one and it is great. Fully loaded, that will provide smoke for 12ish hours. It is also great for cold smoking - pop that...

Welcome from MN. I would be wary about trying to sell your beer at a restaurant, there are many, many hurdles to clear to legally do so. It is highly illegal to sell beer without the proper licensure, permits, commercial facility, etc.

Decent Sawzall for a good price?

I have both a corded DeWalt and a corded Makita. I have put them through the ringer for many many years and both are still going strong.

    Ball lock poppits

I would first check the o-rings on the posts if you are having a leak when the disconnect is attached. That is almost always the issue. If it is leaking without the disconnects attached, then it is either the o-ring under the post or the poppet itself. I hope this helps! Otherwise here is a...

Keezer Not Cooling - Repair or Replace?

I would give this a shot first. I have seen many freezers/fridges that need the capacitor/relay/overload replaced. Super easy and takes just minutes. If it does not work, then you are only out $16 and have it laying around for when another fridge goes out. I have installed several of these...

Homebrew Comp -- suggestion for which category

Enter the Blonde in both 12A and 18A and see what happens.

Homebrew Comp -- suggestion for which category

30A is correct for the stout. For example, under "Commercial Examples" on the BJCP style guidelines for this category it lists Young's Double Chocolate Stout as an example. The hoppy Blonde is a tougher one. If the hop aroma is not punching you in the face, I would still enter it as a Blonde...

Is this grain okay for creating a Malt with?

It must be labeled as certified organic.

Is this grain okay for creating a Malt with?

Pretty sure ppm is a typo, it happens. Getting back to the OP, rolled barley is basically pre-gelatinized barley flakes, so they cannot be malted. The protein content is fine however, right in line with most American base malts. European and English malts tend to be a little lower in protein...
