    I just sit my pot up on my deck railing and put my carboy on the ground and autosiphon it through hose into the carboy.

    Momma said there'd be days like this ;) Seems like silly stuff like this happens when you have an audience. Most of that debris will settle out in the primary so no worries.

    You might try wrapping it in a towel, fermentation creates heat. It might warm up a bit. Keep an eye on it though.

    They seem pretty close so it probably won't be a big deal. Sulfur smells are common during fermenting. Let it ride ;)

    I would agree with you, but I had 2 different experiences with this beer. I bought some back in 95 and tried one. It was like bourbon and I hated it. Only finished it because I spent so much money on it. I kept a couple bottles around though and tried a 14 year old bottle of it a couple years...
