    Bottle Bombs?

I opened one of my beers early to test it out after one week in bottling. When i opened it, it foamed out the top. I only used a little over 3/4 cup of bottling sugar for a 5 gallon batch. Is there any other reason that this could happen?

SO MUCH SEDIMENT!!! What can I do?

There is a tiny amount in the bottles, but i caught a good amount in the hop bag. Maybe an ounce? I just figured it would be easier than risking getting the bag stuck in the bottom of the carboy.

    Dry Hopping question

I am dry hopping 2 oz. of Pellet hops in secondary. I have a nice layer on the top and bottom of the beer of fine hop material. What is the best way to avoid siphoning this when i go to bottle? Also..side question. Is it normal to get more airlock action once it has been in secondary for about...

oops.. Sanitized water in the carboy.

I just siphoned the beer that had been fermenting for a week in the primary and put it in to my secondary to dry hop. I filled my tubing with sanitized water in order to start the siphon, only i made the stupid mistake of dumping it directly into the secondary carboy along with the rest of the...
