    Need advice on aging/conditioning

I'm not sure if aging would make it taste less watery. Did you brew an extract beer? Use Steeping grains? If you brewed an extract beer with out any steeping grains, you may just be tasting a beer with out much body to it. All grain, or extract/steeping will give the beer that body. It's your...

    Accidental Belgian?

So I sampled my first IPA today and it has distinct Belgian-style flavors. Kinda weird. I have an idea of why though... tell me what you think. I started off using a white labs English Ale yeast, but It was taking it's time to show any air lock action, so i re-pitched with a Safale (Dry)...

Having one bad batch, and the next possibly bad... i was trying to track down the source of my problem. I noticed on one of Revvy's blogs that he advised against using you bottling bucket for cleaning/sanitizing. I have done that a couple times now. How likely is it that i have scratched that...

    How to sanitize racking cane?

I think someone mentioned in a thread that if the Star San is cloudy than it is no longer good. I can't find the thread again. Any one know if this is true? I have a carboy filled with the stuff that i had used to sanitize my bottles. It is cloudy. I am wondering if it is still good. It has only...

    Bottling questions...

I am wondering how the water actually makes it up into the bottles using this method. Wouldn't it just sanitize the outside of the bottles?

    Bottle Bombs?

Oh damn, makes sense. Well now i know. However, the way that the beer shot to the ceiling in some of the bottles, i could have had grenades on my hands had i waited 3+ weeks.
