Stop by your local electrical supply shop. They will be able to answer any questions you may have AND sell you what you need. As far as the your master power disconect, you could just use your CB to disco the power. If you want a main disconect on your CP, there are several to choose from...

Every thing you did with the second batch one would expect or hope for lots of activity after a few hours. I will agree with Six O Turbo that the sediment is no big deal. I would rather it be at the bottom of my carboy than floating around in my beer.... did you use irish moss or somthing...
