Does cleaning ever get you burned out on brewing?

For me,music, beer, and a clean as you go m.o. gets the job done. I use a wallpaper tub to clean or soak long parts. It also works great for cleaning and not losing keg parts! At the end of the day, if you are not having fun, don't brew it. There is no shame in buying your beer. Cheers, Jim

    Ready to start kegging

Once you start kegging you will wonder why you bottled! Start by reading the force carbing sticky, it is long but worth it. Then use the search function to research specific items for your system. Don't be overwhelmed by the project, kegging, in the end, is very simple. Cheers, Jim

Is a Blichmann burner worth the bucks?

The quiet absolutely appealed to me! I am an electrician in a very loud enviorment. I do not want to wear earplugs while I brew.

Is a Blichmann burner worth the bucks?

Will this burner pay back in propane savings? Most of the reviews seem very positive, and I like the height with the optional legs. There are a lot of blichmann haters out there any admirers? Thanks, Jim

first and second time kegging question....

There are a lot of FIRMLY held opinions on this forum as to the proper way to carbonate your beverage of choice. With that in mind , a few questions, do you have a dual regulator? Are you patient enough to wait it out? If you have the dual regulator, leave the first at ten, and carb the second...

    Pitching on a yeast cake

Good morning! I plan on brewing a kolsch using WLP 029. Anyone see an issue with racking a batch of helles onto the yeastcake? I have never had a sanitation issue, so I don't foresee that as a problem. Opinions welcome. Thanks, Jim

    Thermometer, Burner and stand

So close to my first all grain batch! Took a hard look at my stainless king cooker burner and stand, I am not sure I feel comfortable with that much boiling weight on that flimsy of stand. I ain't scared of nothin'... But 7 gallons of bubbling burn ward do give me pause! Any suggestions out...

Bottles keep exploding - 1st brew.

+1 On the cold box, if you could put them in something with a lid, it might save some clean up. Jim

I was scolded at LHBS today when I told em I don't usually use a secondary

I use glass because that is what I have. I have to believe that the secondary is rarely needed, and if I dry hop it is in the keg. If your LHBS keeps insulting it's customers, it will become his failed business. Jim
