    With my stir plate I have found that small bars tend to get thrown and large bars will stay in place. I got a set off amazon that had a bunch of different sizes to experiment with and in the future I will just buy larger bars in the 1"-1.5" range

    Nice. I'm with you on going big, although for me that was moving to a 20 gallon kettle and doing 12 gallon batches. If I ever have the space I will definitely go bigger though! You have a picture of your mash tun? I've drooled over those groens a few times, way out of my budget just now though.

    Mine would be my TIG welder, because it makes other pieces of brewing equipment. However, for brew specific equipment I would have to go with the pressurized transfer lid I made for my fermenter because it is so much easier than picking up the fermenter and putting it on a table.

I *think* I set my t to 2 originally (prior to auto-tuning) and found it at 18 when I was checking settings after auto-tuning. Frankly PIDs are a mystery to me.     I am using an auberins syl-2352 and something just went screwy. Changed the "t" setting from 18 to 2. Temp probe all the sudden reads 700 something. Changed it back and temp probe read correctly again. Was curious what was up and changed it to 2 again. temp probe reads insanely high again...

    Ran The Table This Year!

    Somewhere is the $140-150 range. Hard to say as they are released throughout the entire year. Also I have duplicates of a couple of them. I think they were around $16 each before taxes except the Anniversary which was $24 before taxes.
