    Brewing-deployed to the Middle East

Thanks for what you guys do! My family and I proudly support our Military. There have been many good suggestions above, but in regards to fermentation do yourself a favor and go with some Kveik strains if you are in a warm climate. Great flavors even when fermenting up to 100F ! Keep us posted!

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

I am so impatient that whatever wont fit in the keg gets put into a 2 liter bottle and carbed up with carb cap and crashed for quick sampling.

Show us your cider in a photo!!!

Mott's 100% with us-05 and a splash of tart cherry juice. Heavily carbed and delicious according to my wife. 4.5%

I agree, part of that has to do with the ibu to gravity ratio, as well as other factors. Personally, I think this style shines at 8%+ so for me its quick turnover with great results.

    Sparkling Water

No aggression, its just a huge ripoff. Sodastream costs $50 and then the tiny tanks cost $40 and you are limited to what size and shape bottle you can use. And not to mention they are very cheaply made and will break easily with no replacement parts. If you dont want to shake using a carb cap...

    Sparkling Water

Use distilled/RO water and flavoring if you feel like it, fill standard plastic soda bottle up to 1-2" below neck. Squeeze bottle to remove excess oxygen. Screw on carb cap while squeezing bottle. Set regulator to 25 psi and connect tank to carb cap. Shake vigorously for 1 minute. Boom LaCroix...

    Sparkling Water

DO NOT BUY A SODA STREAM... especially if you already have a c02 tank. Just get a carb cap off amazon for $10, they work perfectly. We dont like mineral water, so we use RO water and a shot of lemon juice or food grade concentrate and it comes out just like LaCroix

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

We got a chance to visit the White Labs tasting room today and it was quite an experience. For those who don't know, they brew identical beers of a certain style and the only variable is the yeast strain. It is truly amazing how different strains can create a drastically different final product...

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

It's a beautiful hazy day here in SoCal, so it seemed to be the perfect time for me to break out my most recent neipa. This time I kept it simple and am pleased with the results. I know there has been some discussion of Electric Brewing beers here in this thread, so pictured is their can release...

Pressurized transfers from Fermonster to corny keg

Just on the fermenter side as I have noticed that's where most of the clogging happens and I want to reduce o2 pickup on the keg side, so no changing poppets there

Pressurized transfers from Fermonster to corny keg

No clogging if you cold crash hard, but you can also do what I did and cut a couple slits in each side of the aluminum pickup tube. Since the trub level always differs there is no perfect length for the tubing, but I usually overshoot my volume and the keg is full before I get all the way to...

Using a Jaded Hydra with a 7GPM pump instead of garden hose

This is the ticket, and exactly what I do with my jaded chiller

    Kegland Cannular

I am also very interested in this product. I saw that morebeer recently added it to their site but it shows out of stock. Anyone got their hands on one of these?

My faucet keeps getting sticky. Have I set it up wrong or is this a common problem?
