I am guessing they will need to be rebuilt. Polished obviously.

    Beer and guns

Its a disease. I had to do more brewing to stop spending money on guns lol. Get your C&R FFL, then the real fun begins when you just have to click buy and ship to your house for antique guns.

Using shop-vac to clean spent grain from mash tun

Not to get too far off topic but I sense a back in my day quote. Being 27 I know nothing about back in the day. :D What vacuums are you guys using? Which ones have failed to do the task? Do you guys recommend a minimum HP rating? "Back in my day it was 2 miles to the compost heap. Uphill both...

    Reusing Yeast

My LHBS said something similar but it wasn't a flavor thing it was using yeast from a high alcohol content may not leave very viable yeast for the next batch. I see no harm in trying. Go for it and if you have more than 24hrs of no activity pitch a packet of yeast.

All of our beers taste nothing special..

I do this with extracts, let condition for 6 weeks and just about anything I add to flavor really pops after I let them condition. Brew a batch and write down what you think as they mature. I brewed 3 IPA's this summer and they all tasted the same at week 3. After a month of conditioning...

The stupidest comment on your beer

The best/stupidest was a awesome comment but it had consequences. My friend is a beer drinker and it was a young IPA he was drinking. He turned to his wife and I quote "This taste better than the stuff your dad makes". Hope he likes the couch. :cross:

    Rhizomes

I am looking to buy rhizomes from anyone might have to plant before the cold weather comes. I live in the northeast. I'll buy anything that is available but, I commonly use centennial and cascade. If this is a bad idea let me know and I can delete this. I did some reading and from what I...

    Mother in laws!?

I'm new to the forum but as a noob to brewing and marriage. I hope to god your making enough beer to get through this. There is no way on earth I would have married my wife in a situation like that. You only get to pick one family member so you need to make it worth it. If your not spending time...

    Girlfriend hides everything (need advice)

I would put money on OCD. I constantly move my wife's crap. However I always put it in one of two places. Her desk or her dresser. She'd come home and its jacket on the kitchen table, purse on the counter, mail next to the sink, keys on the microwave, shoes in the hall, cell phone on the bed...

    Brazepack heat exchanger

I hear ya. Yes I'm new to this forum so I understand the tinfoil hat. Not trying to con anyone, just what I use on other forums. I looked up the fee and its only $2.10. I'll do regular paypal. I thought the fees were more for some reason.
