I actually brewed same kit, I didn't notice a color change,I used a whirl flow tablet don't know if that means anything, have mine in bombers waiting to carb! Let me know how yours turns out. Cheers

Had a blowoff while I was at work,not sure how long the top was blown off,how does an infection taste or smell what should I be looking for?

Well I forgot the maltodextrin and just had a blowoff! Think my RIS is doomed

So I come home from work and find the top blown off my RIS first blowoff I've had I hurried and stuck the blowoff tube in and put it in star San mix is the brew ruined??

Ok say we've made some solid extract kits thinking of going to all grain,but going to have to do 10 gallon batches. I have ALOT of questions! Think 10 gallons is doing too much for a beginner?

Contradicting statements

I'm gonna be brewing a IIPA,we brew in a 7 gal. Turkey fryer. I've heard different things of boiling all 5 gallons at once, but my extract kit calls for 2.5 gallons and add the rest of the water after boil. Should I stick to 2.5 or boil all 5 gallons? As always thanks and cheers
