I plan to use it for just smoking. I have a Weber gas grill that I use for grilling. Convenient and I use it almost daily. Is the Pit Boss a decent pellet smoker? I definitely want to go for the good smoke ring. Which pellet smoker do you have?

Still tasting good! My cream ale actually got a little darker and bolder. Watermelon wheat still tastes watermelony but has a slight sourness to it.

Not sure if I should be diluting with tap or distilled water when cleaning pH meter (Hach Pocket Pro+)

Brewed yesterday. Ended up with an OG of 1.076. Everything went well except my mash temp dropped from 150 to 140 by the end of the mash. Likely from checking pH at 10 minutes and then adding lactic acid at around 15 and stirring to get pH right. Hope it turns out ok. Looking good at 24 hours.

I dumped the water in the tun at 205F. Swooshed around and let it settle to strike temp of 166. Then I coughed in and stirred thoroughly. Took about 8 minutes of stirring and adding a handful of ice cubes to get the temp down to 150. I think the issue drop in temp resulted from checking pH and...
