Rehydrating Yeast foam stuck to aluminum foil

Was rehydrating 2.5 packs of S-04 yesterday in what I thought was a tall cup. I sealed it with aluminum foil. Within less than 10 minutes, the foam had made it up to the foil so I went to transfer it all to a bigger container, in the process quite a bit of foam was stuck to the foil. All the...

Yea, I was thinking what old games had zombies in them and my friend reminded me of the ultimate vintage game zombie... altered beast! He was a zombie that also transformed into animals! Score! Too bad Zombie Dust isn't a Weiss. I'd love to have it say 'Weiss from your gwave!"

    5 Day Sweet Country Cider

Any corn sugar needed at bottling time on this?

While high contrast white labels can look amazing on a bottle, without label paper that's 100% opaque and a matte or gloss finish, it always looks terrible. I use label paper that has adhesive gum on one side (like a stamp) but once I wet it to get it to stick, the paper looses some of its...

    My Apfelwein smells like sulphur?

Just made a cider using Nottingham Ale yeast. Made all the difference. No odor at all.

    5 Day Sweet Country Cider

If only. Just did a google image search for "Wilford Brimley Cartoon" and I got this. I digress. Don't want to get too off topic. Sorry guys.

It's been a while since I've done a label. The cider I'm making is sugary as hell. So I thought this appropriate.

    5 Day Sweet Country Cider

Just taste tested it and it's super sweet. So while I wait for more fermentation I made labels.

    5 Day Sweet Country Cider

Used Treetop Apple juice (as I'm 100s of miles away from an orchard). Everything else I did to a tee. Used Nottingham yeast, brown sugar and cinnamon sticks. I sanitized with Starsan, and there was a little bit of foam left, but I've always been told not to 'fear the foam'. I can't wait...

    Dubbel D Labels

Won't the milk make the bottle stink? Also will 2% milk work?

    Dubbel D Labels

Thanks! Zlad was my first ever one and I decided to use it as my 'Template' for all Dubbel D made brews. What kind of paper? Won't the milk bleed through regular paper? I've used Avery full sheet labels before but they're kind of a pain.

It's hands down my best one. Here are all the ones I've done so far. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f46/dubbel-d-labels-248928/ I would have to say my 2nd best one was Sausage Fest from the link above. Still, Limey Bastard is one of our better tasting and better looking beers. :rockin:

Here's a new label of mine. However, I don't expect most home brewers to have gone to art school like I have. So, I think BEER LABELIZER still serves a purpose for those without Photoshop or Illustrator.

    Dubbel D Labels

It's been a while, but I've finally kicked out a new label. This is for our Blonde with Lime beer. Ugh, zesting 50 limes for this was crazy, but it turned out great. So it was only befitting that I make a label just as epic.
