    Broken Thermometer in Beer??

So yesterday was a brew day, all went well. I got up this moring to see if my brew was fermenting, one was and the other was NOT..... but that's not the main problem. The main issue is that the bottom of my thermometer was broken and I can't find the glass. I don't know if it broke in the wort...

    How full is my keg

I do it the way Yuri was talking about, it seems to work just fine. I also like to mark it with Blue tape and date it just to see where i'm at.

Yes it dose get better with time but who wants to wait! If I want a bottle of something I'll just pick one up, you just can't beat...

Ok, so now it's been a few weeks in the Keg and the metallic taste is gone (for the most part) but it still has a strong nutty taste, could that be from wort? If so that sucks... well I think next time I will try the late extract addition. It's still seems drinkable and has'not made me sick yet...

Is there such a thing as a good, light beer?

I LOVE big beer!! but sometimes I would like a light easy drinking beer, the problem is that I have gained a few LBS..... Sooo for the New Year the plan is that if I want to keep Brewing and drinking beer, I need to make sure I stay active not just come home and grab a few cold ones.

Hey guys, I brew up a batch of a New Castle clone a few weeks ago everthing went well. I kegged it last Sat. but now it's starting to have a funky tiny after taste. What the hell is that! I bled the oxygen out of the keg... I wondering if I got Oxygen in the beer during the transfer to the keg...
