Free to good home about 6 case of bottles all mostly brown. All have been rinsed and many have been peeled.
I'm in Avalon PA which is just outside downtown Pittsburgh.
Certainly feel free to share a home brew but not required. :-P
I have my temp probe taped to the wall of the freezer, I wonder if I would be better to put into a bowl of water. Do you think that will yield more consistent temperature control?
I tasted the same thing in my Pils that I just put in the keg to force carb...
I always like to try a little bit un-carbinated to see how it is coming along...
I taste a slight banana flavor at the end. I lagered in a freezer with a temperature controller. I'm wondering if maybe I didn't...
Well I definitely need a hose to fill from the bottom. The drop in the bottle caused the beer to foam which only allowed me to fill the bottle about half way...
I think this would work if I had a tube that I could hook up to my tap and then end it with the bottle filler...
I have some finished beer already force-carbed in my keezer... I want to share some with my buddy tonight and we don't have any growlers handy.
I do have several cleaned champagne bottles. Any harm in filling them from the tap and then putting a bottle cap on?
He'll drink the beer over...
Here's a couple of pictures of the drip tray up close. I super glued the rare earth magnets to the back. Those came from 3 hard drives. Three sets seem to hold this securely, no wobbling or drifting downwards.
Yea I already trashed it... I bought another freezer on craigslist for 40 bucks to do controlled fermentation storage. If you're in a large metro city you can find all kinds of cheap stuff on there. Thanks for the suggestion! :-)
