a problem with lack of tank and lack of CO2.

You may want to check your seal and possibly replace the ring. My kegs don't leak around the top even when there's no air pressure. During cleaning they sit upside down with cleanser in them, and nothing comes out then.

    Bad rhizomes?

I'd agree. As I recall, the first year I put my hops in, the different rhizomes took different amounts of time to come up. So give it a few more weeks and see what happens. :)

    Dishwasher and Bottles

I used my dishwasher to sanitize my bottles a while back, and even though my JetDry compartment was empty (and had been for a few wash cycles), I still had an issue with head retention. It was still worth not having to sanitize 48 bottles individually though. ;) Simple solution? Keg. :D

Looking for advice on building my kegerator

When I crank it up to the max, it gets down to about 30. So I keep it a little warmer than that. :)

Looking for advice on building my kegerator

That's a good point. I was thinking of wrapping it with some insulation. It's a pretty quick trip from the fridge to the tap, so for now, I'm just pouring out a little at the beginning of the night.

Looking for advice on building my kegerator

All right. The technology Gods have decreed that my camera and computer can work today, so I finally have pics! Here's my basement closet, with my little wine fridge: Transparent door (complete with fingerprints), to show the bounty within: My two babies, with a CO2 tank back...

Looking for advice on building my kegerator

Well, I kinda fell off the face of the earth there. :) But you'll all be happy to know that the kegerator is up and running wonderfully. It's got just enough room for two kegs and and my CO2 tank, and I've got the beer line running right through the wall into the bar. I'll post some pics...

Looking for advice on building my kegerator

Hey all. I just picked up a wine fridge from craigslist this weekend, and I am going to be converting it to a kegerator. My latest batch will be ready to keg this coming weekend, so I'm hoping to get it done soon. Here's my setup: I've got the fridge in a closet which is right next to my bar...

    Hi from Eastern PA

Yup, Keystone is where I get all my supplies. Everyone there is extremely helpful, and I feel like I could just hang out there all day and chat about brewing. :)

    Hi from Eastern PA

Hello everyone. My name is Mike (despite the username), and I'm from Sellersville, PA. I started brewing back in January after spending my xmas bonus on a homebrew starter kit. Since then I've brewed a couple of different beers with some very nice results. I bottled my Hefeweizen two weeks...
