    analogue brewing co. logo (concept)

Analogue and Analog are different words with different meaning.

I like where you are going with these. Keep at it. The lowercase "g" intersecting the wheat/barley is kinda bugging me. Nitpicky, I know, but that's why they pay me the big bucks.

I'm sorry to state this... but... it looks like a condom. Or, maybe, I just have a sick mind.

Well, it's not so much the image /artwork that you would be looking to copy... it's the idea. I use images to spark ideas.

As a graphic designer, I think it would be interesting to see the entire name encompassed inside of the watch and a little less literal. Put this mockup together in 15 minutes. Feel free to use as you want. You can find some great stock art (for cheap!) to use for the watch at...

    Oatmeal Stout Fermentation Stuck??

    1) Definitely take a hydrometer reading 2) Definitely wait 3 days and take another hydrometer reading a) If the reading has not changed, then move the primary to a warmer area of the house and give it a couple big swirls. b) If the reading has changed, then you can either give it a swirl and...

Adding a cinnamon stick to secondary, too much?

Just a note on this beer. Added one cinnamon stick, 4 whole cloves, and a half gallon of apple cider to secondary. Bottled about two weeks ago. I tried my first bottle last week and it definitely has the enhanced aroma profile I was looking for. Perhaps a bit strong for some but in my ballpark...

    Howdy from Chicagoland

Welcome from Naperville! I'm a big fan of the Grumpy Bulldog in downtown Naperville. So, I hope it's there! I'm all for starting a small Naperville/West Burbs group of beginners. Just let me know the date and location!

    Hello All

Awesome! I worked for the Exponent from 1994-1995. I was an editorial cartoonist and then had a semester long comic strip called "Canned Ham". Admittedly, it was an awful comic strip in hindsight but I had fun at the time. I work for the Office of Publications (now Purdue Marketing) from 96-99.

    Hello All

Nope. Lost season. Waiting for men's basketball to heat up. Maybe, just maybe we can get to a final four for once.

    Hello All

Welcome from Naperville, IL and from a fellow Boilermaker! I won't welcome you with a Boiler Up! because, well, I was part of the team that invented that phrase and I've never liked it. So, "Hail, Hail, to old Purdue. All hail to our old gold and black!"

Alternative to Muntons Ale Dry Yeast

Here's another thread resurrection. I too used Muntons for an Austin Homebrew Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout clone. SG was 1.051 and after a week I am stuck at 1.019. The sample tastes great so I'm not terribly disappointed at all. Been giving it a big swirl every other day to get a bit lower but not...

    Austin Homebrew Holiday Ale timing...

Thanks for this tip. Just bottle mine a week ago.

Wheat beer fermenting. I haven't added yeast yet!

The bubbles you are seeing are more than likely being caused by the air being forced out of the fermenter as the liquid volume expands. Hot-to-warm wort is .95 the volume of cool-to-room temperature wort. So, that 5.5 gallons of hot wort is going to expand to 5.8 gallons of cool wort. In my...

Does a false bottom have to be stainless?

I'm a Brew-in-a-Bag brewer who is making a switch from the stovetop to an outdoor propane burner. Been reading up on the Aussie BiaB method and I definitely will try it for my next brew. This method calls for direct heat with the bag in the brewpot, which I have not tried before because of the...

    Can I All Grain?

Read this Brew-in-a-Bag resource site: http://www.biabrewer.info/BIAB_Guides.html It will tell you all you need to know to do this. I have achieved between 60-75% in the past using a similar method (extending my boil from 60-90 next brew per the directions). When my % is lower I just toss in...
