Bemerritt, Were you able to get the coils into the cooler? The AC unit I tried this with the copper tubing came from the bottom so there was a lot of bending and i ended up with a leak. So I'm looking for a different model AC if anyone cares to share.

I was referring to the female section. My plan is to solder one and that give me the ability to attach a sparge system.

Thanks for the reply. Makes since. I'm gathering up the info I need to silver solder 1" TC fittings and it has gotten a little bit aggregating.

What size TC fittings did you install? 1" or 1.5?

I know this is an old thread but I have been reading all of the silver soldering threads and now I'm confused. Why did you drill a 1.5" hole for a 1" coupling?

Do you feel the nano pump does a good job at cleaning the kegs? I was reading another thread where at least 3/4 hp was recommended.

Yeah that's the idea. I was hoping to find the valves cheaper but with the price of two of them plus a new tap, one might as well buy one made.

I want to remove the check ball and add two ball valves so I can use the coupler to clean.

I have searched but have not come up with anything. Can someone point me to a vendor that sells ball valves I can attach to a sanke coupler.
