You make it what it is. If your equipment is given to you or you get it cheap. If you have group buys or a good lhbs, that also helps, Your already gaining. $25 for 5 gals of bad ass beer ain't too bad. Myself, being in s Florida and no brew shops around I have to order all my ingredients...

Went by yesterday and talked to David, he was very nice and helped me with selecting grains for a kit he put together for me. I'm still new at this and he was a big help. They have a good selection of items. Lots of grains and extracts. Deffinetly will go back!!!

If you enjoy it that much try some partial extracts while you get your stuff together, you can still brew and keg awesome stuff that way. It's alot faster and somewhat cheaper.

Possibly true, most gas like co2, propane etc turns to a liquid form when it's under pressure, I just got my kit and filled my 10lb tank for the first time at a welding shop. So I'm rather new at this...

started the "Jamiaca Mon" in one of my MB's it called for the Golden Lager UME and an Amber lager (i think) HME it also called for booster, but instead i used brown sugar, not a fan of the booster. lets see how it goes!......:drunk:
