Brew Day! Give me your best brew tip!

My advise is to remember you are a homebrewer and it takes beer to make beer. :mug:

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Waiting for the mash to finish. Brewing a West Coast IPA full of Columbus, Simcoe and Cascade. Will be dry hopping with Amarillo, Centennial, Columbus and Simcoe. This is a "re-brew" for me, a recipe I think I will be repeating often.

  9. YNOT2K

    What's in your fermenter(s)?

I formally agree with you! :ban: Yesterday I racked 8 gallons of IPA to cornies and put the gas to 'em. They'll be ready to drink when I return from Mexico! Then I'll brew up a new batch or two and do it all over again. I'll be sure to post in this thread when my fermenters are FULL. :D

Sadly, my fermenters are all empty as I ready myself for 8 DAYS IN CANCUN! SeeyawhenIgetback!

    BJCP certification and beer enjoyment...

As a songwriter, I have a difficult time listening to and enjoying songs. I find myself picking them apart, being highly critical, etc. As a brewer, I find that I already, to some extent, do the same thing with beer. The only difference being that if I drink enough beer, I don't care...
  17. YNOT2K

    Style you will never brew?

I brew beer styles that I like. That being said, it's highly unlikely I will ever brew a Rauchbier. I can't stand the smoke.
  18. YNOT2K

    What's in your fermenter(s)?

Green Flash WC IPA clone. 10 gallons of hoppy goodness!
  19. YNOT2K

    5 taps...what would you chose?

I have 4 taps and they change often. Right now it's - APA Blond Oatmeal Stout Semi-Sweet Hard Apple Cider Next in the pipeline is an IPA. I brew the styles I enjoy. You should too!
