I'm sorry, but those 2 eyes inside the car aren't covered by ice and snow like the ones outside the car are. All self-driving video's i've seen are at worst with some snow going around, no permanent snow on the road at all. once the markings aren't visible, the tesla is useless at self-driving.

my issue with fsd is that as long as it's based on tesla's choice of only using cameras, it's a system that can be fooled by bad weather too easily. Waymo and other systems seem to be on track for becoming true self-driving(as in as good or better than human drivers) in the next 5-10 years.

yea, but waymo uses a combination of sensors including radar and lidar and cameras and combines with very high level processing ai to make it work rather well. meanwhile tesla decided that a camera that can't see the difference between the sky and the side of a white lorry trailer is fine.
