looking for quick disconnect valved-in coupler

HI, I bought myself in the past this tubing kit from SS Brewtech to go along with my glycol chiller: https://www.ssbrewtech.com/collections/ftss-1/products/quick-disconnect-ftss-kit?variant=12468315619399 I bought the single valve option at that time since I only had 1 fermenter, but now I...

    SS Brewtech Unitank pressure test

At first I ruled out the ball valve since it had a tube submerged in water and I saw no bubble. But since the leak was prior the ball valve itself, that is why it took me some time to figure it out. Glad I found it :) And as you said, they aren't rated to support any vacuum. cheers!

    SS Brewtech Unitank pressure test

Hi guys, I managed to fix it in the end. It was the bolts on the blowoff cane ball valve that were slightly loose. After tightening them up, no more pressure drop. Thanks for your help!

    SS Brewtech Unitank pressure test

Hi, I've just purchased an SS Brewtech Unitank 7 gallon. I've cleaned it thoroughly per instructions. I then performed the leak test with liquid above all bottom ports and added about 10PSI of pressure. No leaks whatsoever. Then, I emptied the vessel and put 10PSI of pressure and monitored the...

Canada Brewjacket Immersion Pro, 2 sets.

Any reasonable offer will be considered. This really needs to leave. Cheers!

Canada Brewjacket Immersion Pro, 2 sets.

OK, this really needs to go. I'm reducing the price to 200$ each or 350$ for both. Again, this works really well to maintain perfect fermenting temperature. Thanks!

Canada Brewjacket Immersion Pro, 2 sets.

Hi, I recently moved to a glycol chiller and don't need my two perfectly working Brewjacket sets anymore. I can sell them separately or in bundle. One is for 3 legged conical and the other is for 4 legged conical. The 3 legged set comes with a SS brewtech flat lid pre drilled...

DIY SS Brewtech Standard Chronical Mount FTSS Chiller Coil Inside

Just fhinished mine. Thanks for the writeup. On a side note, on the SS Brewtech link they say to drill the bottom hole 1 inch from the top of the cone. I think 1'1/2 is more accurate. This is what I've done and I don't see it possible at 1 inch. Cheers!

Why did you change the original thermowell for a longer one?

    Hydroponics water chiller vs Glycol

Thanks for sharing. I ended up buying the stasis glycol chiller. As mentionned on the kickstarter page, I should get it in november. I hope it is going to be a good product.

The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

Hi, I am about to pull the trigger on your kickstarter page, but was wondering the compatibility with your coil and my 7 gallon SS Brewtech Chronical. I've read the comments on your project page and found one guy asked for the SS brewbucket, but I am concerned about the the coil hitting the...

    Hydroponics water chiller vs Glycol

Thank you for clarifying, that's what I was thinking. after posting this morning, I continued my quest on the best way to chill my fermenters and I stumbled on this new glycol chiller on Kickstarter campaign...

    Hydroponics water chiller vs Glycol

Hi, Do you have to put your submersible pump in a cooler filled with water before the connection to the fermenter? Sorry if it's seems stupid but I don't just quite get the picture of the whole setup. That'd be appreciated if you can elaborate on how the whole thing works, or share a picture if...

build completed and tested, at last!

Yes, I did use that screw as a grounding post. But after talking to Ryan at ebrewsupply he made me realized that this wasn't even necessary to have a ground on that side of the door. Since the panel is all metal, no paint, the grounding post on the other side of the door is sufficient. I already...

Because I don't have any basement. That was one of the many constrain I had to deal with when doing this project. Cheers

Not my first brew as a homebrewer, but my first brew with this specific setup. Just so I get use to it and then, crank up my game on the next brew session. Hope it clarifies things up [emoji16]

In winter, I just close the door of a dedicated room and leave the thermostat at 20c (68f). During summer I use a brewjacket to control the temp. Cheers
