It seems like a lot less work for one thing. You don't need to add sugar. You need a spunding valve or some sort of pressure release with a keg. I believe you can reduce oxidation by using a keg, and that is the main reason I ferment in one. Sure there are other differences I am not thinking...

Because you will not know the alpha and beta acid content without spending money getting your hops tested, I recommend you buy them. I grew them for years but never made any beer that I thought was outstanding with them...might have been the terroir of my backyard though...dunno. Also different...

I think those got substituted for with Crisp MO and Gleneagles. Did you happen to see that we had "extra" of those? Tim may not have passed that along to whoever checked and they were only added this week. Would be good to know if they made it in or not as that affects about 4 people... :mug:

After my 10th brew of the year with the Z....some others on my other systems, but 10 on the Z is why I bought it...to brew more often with less hassle. I will say that about every other brew day I have run into an issue...not always with the Z but related to it. That said, I am pretty happy to...

Note: on my latest brewing of this, I moved the two 5 minute hop additions to the whirlpool and I like it better than prior versions. </shrug>

Brewed this up a couple of weeks ago and sampling for the first time tonight. WoW this is good! Hazy like a NEIPA, great malt backbone, and hops shine through with grapefruit/citrus character. Gonna have to rebrew this soon cuz frankly this one goes down WAY too EZ! Cheers!

Refunds sent for Schill Kolsch malt and delta between Muntons and Crisp (FARoad). The other Muntons -> Crisp was 60 cents more. Not worth the hassle of you paying me.
