The element works great in my system. I get a strong boil in about half an hour. These are low density elements and I have never scorched my wort. My blondes come out as light as Stella!

OK Take a deep breath! The important thing is NOT your efficiency, but how consistent your efficiency is. You can make great beer with 55% to 60% efficiency. You may have to use a bit more grain, but so what! I would rather have a system that is locked in at 60% than one that bounces...

I go from grain to glass in three weeks for my session beers. OG of about 1.050 of less. 2 weeks in the primary Rack into the corny and set the gas at 12psi for a week Tap and enjoy!

How many IBUs per lobster? Do you add them in place of, or in addition to, hops? Can you triple lobster an ale?

Getzville? Cool! I used to live in NT and worked at the Denny's in Getzville. Wish I could find a $9 refill, seems like that is what I used to pay.

I know this has been beat to death. I have 2 5 lbs CO2 cylinders and one 15 lb one. I exchanged one 5 lb cylinder at Praxair in Duluth, MN. The cost? $17.98!! :( Am I just being a cheap bastid (I know I am), or have I been ripped off?

I do this all the time! I dump my wort right from the plate chiller onto a cake, and stand back! Beer comes out great! No chance for anything else to get a foothold and grow in there. Plus it cuts your yeast expense in half, or quarters it if you pitch again!

THIS I have a keg of a tripel I brewed in October of last year. Gonna be great when I tap it this winter!

Funny, But it seems that the higher gravity of my beer, the more it affects me in the morning. This almost makes me think that the more alcohol in a beer, the more it hits you. This may require much more research and experimentation! :drunk:

You should be fine. The extreme cooler holds temps very well, and most well modified grains will convert very quickly. DWHAHB!
